What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to help sites work as intended, remember your choices, and gather general information about how pages are being used.
Cookies do not contain your personal data directly. They typically hold a small reference number or setting value. Any information we associate with a cookie is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can change your browser settings to decline them — see the browser guide further down this page. Be aware that disabling certain cookies may affect how parts of this site function.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always Active — Cannot Be Disabled
These cookies are needed for the site to function at a basic level. They cover things like remembering your cookie preferences and maintaining a secure browsing session. Without them, certain parts of the site would not work.
Examples: session token, cookie consent record
Duration: session or up to 12 months
Analytics Cookies
Optional
These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed most, where people arrive from, and how long they stay. We use this general picture to improve the clarity and usefulness of our content. No individual is identified.
Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid)
Duration: up to 2 years
Marketing Cookies
Optional
These cookies are set by advertising platforms to help measure the reach of our general awareness efforts. They may record that you visited our site so that relevant content can be shown on other platforms. We do not use this to target individuals in any intrusive way.
Examples: Facebook Pixel, Bing Ads UET
Duration: up to 180 days
Preference Cookies
Optional
These remember choices you make while browsing — such as a preferred display language or region setting — so you do not need to re-select them on each visit. They are stored locally in your browser.
Examples: language selection, display settings
Duration: up to 12 months
Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles above or the buttons below to set your preferences. Changes take effect immediately and are saved in your browser. You can update them at any time by returning to this page.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services we use for general analytics and awareness. These services have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:
- Google Analytics — measures aggregate site usage. Google Privacy Policy
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — tracks general reach of informational content. Meta Privacy Policy
- Microsoft (Bing) Ads UET — measures general site visit data for Bing campaigns. Microsoft Privacy Statement
- Google Maps — embedded map on our contact page. Google Privacy Policy
Cookie Duration
Session cookies exist only while your browser is open. They are removed automatically when you close your browser tab or window. We use them for basic navigation and temporary preferences during a single visit.
Persistent cookies remain on your device for a fixed period — usually between 30 days and 2 years, depending on their purpose. They allow the site to recognise you on a return visit without requiring you to reset your preferences each time. You can delete them at any point through your browser settings.
