If you are enrolling on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that they have read and accepted these terms.
3. Description of Programmes
Aevum provides general retirement education and document organisation services. The three current offerings are the Retirement Concepts Workshop, the Personal Records Organisation Toolkit, and the Information Circle Membership. All Programmes are educational in nature. Aevum does not provide individual financial, legal, investment, or tax advice of any kind. Nothing communicated by Aevum staff or in Aevum materials should be understood as personalised professional advice.
4. Enrolment and Registration
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment or, where invoiced, upon agreement to pay.
- Aevum reserves the right to decline an enrolment at its discretion without being required to give a reason.
- Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information at the time of registration.
- Session details, including date, time, and location, will be confirmed by email within five working days of enrolment.
5. Payment
- Fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all Materials described in the Programme scope.
- Payment is due before the first session unless a separate invoice arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of enrolment.
- Cancellation by participant: Cancellations received more than 7 days before the session date will be refunded in full. Cancellations received within 7 days of the session date are non-refundable, but the participant may transfer their place to another session or transfer their enrolment to another person.
- Cancellation by Aevum: If Aevum cancels a session, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
- Information Circle Memberships are annual and non-refundable after the first meetup has taken place. Unused months cannot be refunded.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants. Aevum reserves the right to remove any participant from a session or terminate a membership without refund if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the educational nature of the event. Recording sessions without prior written permission from Aevum is not permitted.
7. Intellectual Property
All Materials provided by Aevum — including printed glossaries, templates, checklists, folder structures, and session recordings — remain the intellectual property of Aevum. Participants receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these Materials for their own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or publicly display Aevum Materials without prior written permission.
8. Educational Disclaimer
All content provided by Aevum is general educational information. It is drawn from publicly available sources and is not tailored to any individual's personal financial circumstances, employment history, or retirement goals. Aevum does not hold a licence to provide financial advice under Thai law and does not do so.
Participants should consult a qualified and licensed professional before making any financial, legal, or investment decisions. Aevum's Programmes are designed to help participants form better questions for those professionals — not to replace those conversations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Aevum's total liability to you for any claim arising from your participation in a Programme or use of this website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Programme.
Aevum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of income, savings, or opportunity, arising from your participation in or reliance on any Programme content. This limitation does not apply to liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
Aevum shall not be liable for events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, or technical failures of third-party systems.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Aevum against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of Aevum Materials.
11. Termination
Either party may end the enrolment relationship at any time. If Aevum terminates an enrolment for reasons other than participant misconduct, a proportionate refund will be issued for unused sessions. Sections 7, 8, 9, and 13 of these terms survive termination.
12. Website Use
You may use this website for the purpose of obtaining information about Aevum's Programmes and submitting enquiries. You must not attempt to disrupt, hack, or misuse the website, or submit false information through any form.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a Programme enrolment will first be referred to informal resolution by written notice to Aevum. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be referred to the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. General
- Entire agreement: These terms, together with the Programme description at the time of enrolment, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these terms continues in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: Aevum may transfer its rights and obligations under these terms to a successor organisation. You may not assign your enrolment to another person without written approval, except as described in Section 5.
15. Changes to These Terms
Aevum may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website or participation in a Programme after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
